RBPS4000 Clamping and Braking Element pneumatic Shaft Ø 40mm

The RBPS4000 is a pneumatic clamping and braking element designed for round shaft guides or piston rods with a minimum surface hardness of HRC 54. By using a wedge gear, it ensures reliable power transmission between the piston and collet. The integrated pneumatic piston moves the wedge gear in the longitudinal direction, enabling efficient clamping and braking operations. An embedded spring-loaded energy storage device allows the closing unit to be closed without pressure, ensuring safety and reliability even in the event of a power failure. Furthermore, the RBPS4000-A has an integrated socket for optional magnetic field sensors, which enable easy status detection and precise monitoring of the piston position.
