Varian ProStar 210 Solvent Delivery Module

The Varian ProStar 210 Solvent Delivery Module uses proven single-piston rapid refill technology for economy, reliability, and virtually pulsation-free operation. It is ideal for microbore, analytical, and preparative flow rates from 10 µl/min to 200 ml/min.

A single-channel 22-bit analog-to-digital converter, built into each 210 pump, can convert a detector signal into digital form and transfer the data to a computer system. For further automation of the HPLC system, five programmable analog inputs and three programmable relay outputs are available.

The 210 is easy to operate and very flexible in use. It can be used in various operating modes: as a standalone isocratic pump, either as a master pump or as a slave pump in a fully automated HPLC system, as a sample injection pump in a preparative system, or in a fully automated HPLC system controlled by an external computer. In any case, it provides excellent accuracy over its entire range of pressures, flow rates, and solvents.

The 210 operation maintains minimal motor noise and resonance vibrations, resulting in a quiet machine.

As a single, standalone unit in an isocratic system, the 210 delivers a constant flow that is adjustable from 0 to 100% of the maximum flow rate of each pump head. The flow is adjustable in 0.001 ml/min increments for 5, 10, 25, and 50 ml/min pump heads; in 0.01 ml/min increments for 100 and 200 ml/min pump heads.
