Skinetta ASK 450 Banding Machine
Purpose of the machine
The SKINETTA stretch banding machines are designed for tightly wrapping individual or multiple products with polyethylene film. In contrast to shrink wrap machines, the film is pulled tightly around the package before sealing. This tightening is the main advantage of the process. This results in up to 20% less film consumption.
A special advantage of the patented SKINETTA sealing system is the infinitely variable, precise dosing.
The film is sealed (welded) in the smallest possible space, resulting in a clean seal with minimal overhang. By using a SKINETTA thermal or SKINETTA shrink hot air hood and a sufficiently wide film, the protruding film overhang can be reduced on the sides. This increases the stability of the container and prevents individual products from falling out sideways in correspondingly grouped containers. With suitable additional devices, it is possible to completely seal the containers by sealing, sealing and folding the sides.
The SKINETTA stretch banding machine program includes six basic models for film widths
from 25 mm to 200, 290, 440, 590, 790, and 1250 mm. To increase output, two- to four-lane systems are available in addition to the single-lane version. - With the SK series (semi-automatic), the products are grouped on the machine table by an operator. Insertion into the film and the subsequent stretch banding process is triggered either by a foot switch or a two-hand control. Full automation is possible at a later date (except for the SK 200 model). - With the ASK series (fully automatic), the products are fed, grouped, and then banded fully automatically using appropriate additional equipment. A modular system of feeding, grouping, forming and special equipment based on over 20 years of experience allows adaptation to the most diverse customer tasks with proven standard elements.
