The combination with a helical gear stage enables a significantly higher efficiency than with pure worm gears. Due to the linear force transmission, these helical-worm gears are particularly quiet and low-noise.
The power is transmitted from the worm shaft and worm wheel to the drive shaft. This dampens torque surges and enables a low noise level.
