Rigid 6-axis force/torque sensor for precise measurement in all six degrees of freedom

Functional description

The strain gauges (SG) of the 6-axis force/torque sensor measure the applied loads in all six degrees of freedom (Fx, Fy, Fz, Mx, My and Mz).

The SG signals are amplified in the sensor.

Schunk 6-axis force/torque sensors are already used in a variety of robot-controlled applications:

FTD - for easy data acquisition with the PC
The FTD sensor is connected to the PC via a DAQ card. The six analog output signals of the sensor
are converted into digital signals using the electronics in the DAQ card. Subsequently, the
software (customer-side) calculates the occurring forces and moments using the calibration matrix and displays them graphically on the PC.
