Schunk 0301574 IN 40/S-M12 Inductive Proximity Switch Distance 24V DC

The SCHUNK IN 40-S-M12 is an inductive miniature proximity sensor, specially developed for integration into SCHUNK gripping systems and automation modules. With a slim stainless steel housing with a diameter of 4 mm, this PNP "normally closed" sensor offers highly precise metal detection with a nominal switching distance of only 0.8 mm. The IN 40-S-M12 is designed for longevity and accuracy and features an integrated LED switching indicator to simplify setup and alignment. It is supplied complete with a 30 cm short PUR-sheathed M12 connector, which provides convenient plug-and-play connectivity. The sensor is optimized for automation environments, operates in a temperature range of -25 °C to +70 °C and withstands harsh conditions, including cutting emulsions and splash water, and achieves IP67 protection when properly connected.
