Savant A160 Speed ​​Vac Vacuum Concentrator

The Savant A160 SpeedVac (also often referred to as AS160) is a compact, automatic centrifugal vacuum concentrator from Thermo Scientific.
It was specifically developed for the efficient drying and concentration of biological and non-biological samples in laboratories.

The system uses a combination of centrifugal force, vacuum and heat to rapidly remove solvents while preventing sample loss through "boiling" (bumping).

Excellent for use with aqueous solvents, organic solvents with higher freezing points and mixtures (such as those used for drying synthetic oligonucleotides in ammonium hydroxide or for drying ethanol precipitates of DNA).

Capacity: The chamber is compatible with various rotors that can accommodate vessels from 0.4 ml to 16 ml or sample volumes up to 250 ml.

Control: Full microprocessor control of all functions, including heating temperatures from 25 °C to 70 °C.

Compactness: The design is space-saving, conceived for use on the laboratory bench.
