This specific configuration of the Rosenberger RB20-LR represents a fully automated, highly flexible high-end bending cell. The equipment with two CNC bending heads and the extended bending capacity sets it clearly apart from standard machines.

Bending Machine (RB20-LR): Designed for increased bending capacity up to Ø 30 x 2 mm (steel). The free distribution of the bending planes within the 138 mm tool height and the travel paths of 1,416 x 260 x 1,170 mm (X/Y/Z) allow highly complex spatial shapes. The core control runs on a proven Siemens S7-300 with SIMATIC Touch Display

Automation & Robotics: A material-saving loading magazine feeds the system. The handling of the pipes between the stations is carried out by two Motoman robots (controlled via Yasnac K10 & MRC Teach-In Terminal).

Process Integration (FZH & Cleaning): Directly integrated into the cell is an FZH pipe cutting station and a 3-chamber spray cleaning system (chamber size 500 x 300 x 1,000 mm) for direct degreasing/cleaning of the workpieces. Both peripheral units have autonomous Siemens SIMATIC control panels.

By linking the FZH cutting station and the 3-chamber washing system via Motoman robots, downtime is completely eliminated. This is particularly important in terms of quality, as cooling lubricants or bending oils are completely washed off the still wet surface immediately after deformation, before they can burn in or dry on the surface.
