Item details

Level measuring instrument for
- Level measurement in liquids
- Interface measurement in liquids

Measurement independent of product properties such as:
- Density,
- Dielectric constant,
- Conductivity.
Measurement also possible with very turbulent surfaces and foam.
Simple menu-guided on-site operation via four-line plain text display.
Convenient remote operation, diagnostics and documentation of the measuring point via the freely supplied operating program.
Optional remote display and operation.
Envelope curve display on-site on the display for easy diagnostics.
Electronics can be replaced without opening the tank.
Use in safety systems (overfill protection) with requirements for functional safety up to SIL 2 in accordance with IEC 61508/IEC 61511-1.
Approvals:
- Europe: ATEX, PED, WHG, steam boiler EN 12952-11/EN 12953-9.
- North America: FM, CSA, boiler act.

Level measurement
The Levelflex M is used for continuous level measurement of liquids.

FMP45 for highest pressures and/or temperatures

Temperature range: -200 °C ... +400 °C.
Pressure range: -1 ... 400 bar.
with second sealing stage: gas-tight glass feedthrough.
Rod and coax probes up to 4 m measuring range, rope probes up to 35 m measuring range.
The following protocols are available for system integration:
HART (standard) with 4...20 mA analog,
PROFIBUS PA,
FOUNDATION Fieldbus.
Interface measurement
Continuous measurement of interfaces between two liquids with significantly different dielectric constants,
such as oil and water. Measurement independent of density, conductivity and temperature.
Electronics variant for simultaneous measurement of the fill level of interfaces and the total level in liquids.
The HART protocol with 4...20 mA analog is available for system integration.
Special variant for measuring the fill level of interfaces at constant total level.
The PROFIBUS PA and FOUNDATION Fieldbus protocols are available for system integration.
