During adsorption, the desiccant stores the moisture contained in the compressed air.
Parker Zander exclusively uses highly active desiccant of the molecular sieve type with high capacity.
This desiccant guarantees a long service life at high inlet temperatures or low pressure dew points.
Regeneration takes place in counter-flow to adsorption.
A portion of the dried compressed air is expanded to atmospheric pressure and passed through the desiccant bed to be regenerated.
The moisture stored during adsorption is carried away with the partial stream of dry regeneration air.

Multitronic, the control
with new pioneering functions and in a new design is perfectly tuned in detail to the cold-regenerating adsorption dryers of the K-MT series.
It allows the highly effective adaptation of the adsorption dryer even to extremely differentiated operating situations.
