The new cold-regenerating adsorption dryer from Parker Zander combines proven and reliable elements of adsorption technology
and impresses with a clear concept.

Distinctive features of the K-MT adsorption dryer series such as

All K-MT series adsorption dryers feature
• self-cleaning sieve floors on the wet side
• high-quality desiccant

During adsorption, the desiccant stores the moisture contained in the compressed air.
Parker Zander exclusively uses highly active desiccant of the molecular sieve type with high capacity.
This desiccant guarantees a long service life at high inlet temperatures or low pressure dew points.
Regeneration takes place in counter-flow to adsorption.
A portion of the dried compressed air is expanded to atmospheric pressure and passed through the desiccant bed to be regenerated.
The moisture stored during adsorption is carried away with the partial stream of dry regeneration air.

The regeneration air requirement of 14.3% for cold-regenerated adsorption dryers refers to:
Operating pressure 7 bar
Inlet temperature 35°C
Pressure dew point -40°C
at a cycle with
- 5 minutes adsorption
- 4 minutes desorption
- 1 minute pressure build-up

The Parker Zander 10-minute cycle, with 5 minutes adsorption, includes 12 load changes per hour.
The common 6-minute cycle, with 3 minutes adsorption, requires 20 load changes per hour and thus necessarily 5.6% more regeneration.
The Parker Zander 10-minute cycle saves energy costs with less wear.

Multitronic, the control

with new pioneering functions and in a new design is perfectly tuned in detail to the cold-regenerating adsorption dryers of the K-MT series.
It allows the highly effective adaptation of the adsorption dryer even to extremely differentiated operating situations.
From the permanently visually recognizable status to the pressure dew point control of the adsorption dryer, the benefit for the operator is comprehensible with the multitronic.

The multitronic system, housed in a clear and easily accessible control cabinet, offers:

• Comfortable microprocessor control for all Parker Zander Heatless Dryer Systems
• Flexible cycle time settings possible.
• LEDs on the front for the individual functions such as
- Operation
- Adsorption
- Desorption
• Selector switch I-0-2 for fixed cycles or variable cycles as synchronous control with the compressor

Possible options:
• Direct dew point measurement including digital display
• A potential-free output for the dew point limit value
• The ability to set the desired dew point in the range of -25°C to -40°C.
