The measuring system of gas pressure thermometers consists of a sensor, capillary tube and Bourdon tube in the housing. These parts are connected to form a single unit. The complete measuring system is filled with nitrogen under pressure. A change in temperature causes a change in internal pressure in the immersion stem. The resulting deflection of the Bourdon tube is transmitted via a pointer mechanism to the pointer.

For harsh operating conditions, with a solid stainless steel housing.
In combination with a protection tube, this thermometer can also be used with aggressive media.
