The Halfen multicom threaded rod may only be used in conjunction with the Halfen multicone cartridge.
Installation instructions:
1) Drill a cylindrical anchor hole using a standard hammer drill. Observe the prescribed drill hole diameter and drilling depth.
2) Clean the drill hole. Blow out from the bottom of the drill hole.
3) Check Halfen multicom cartridge: Usability is ensured if the cartridge is intact and the resin flows like honey. Insert the cartridge into the cleaned drill hole.
4) Place the Halfen multicone threaded rod onto the setting tool and vibrate it into the drill hole using a rotary hammer with the impact mechanism activated until the end of the wire mesh sleeve. The machine must be switched off when the setting depth is reached. The mortar must reach up to the concrete surface. If no mortar is visible at the concrete surface, the threaded rod must be pulled out immediately and reset with a second mortar cartridge.
5) Remove the setting tool and observe the curing time of the composite mortar before loading the anchorage.
