The intelligent fume extraction (filter unit) ERSA EASY ARM EXTRACTION EA-55-i is a compact and powerful filter unit for economical fume extraction at the workplace. Via an interface cable, both i-CON1-C, i-CON2-C and the VARIO - soldering stations can be connected to the ERSA EA 55 i. In interface operation, the fume extraction only works when the connected ERSA soldering station is in operation. As soon as the soldering station switches to standby mode, the fume extraction switches off. This achieves a longer filter life and a significant reduction in energy costs and noise level. Thanks to easy installation and variable installation options, the ERSA EA 55 i can be operated in practically any environment. The soldering fume is filtered in three stages: First, a pre-filter catches the large particles. This protects the HEPA particle filter, which in the second step captures the remaining particles. Finally, the activated carbon filter absorbs the harmful gases. The powerful suction turbine ensures a virtually constant suction volume throughout the entire filter life. An optical signal indicates necessary filter changes. The filter unit is also characterized by an extremely low noise level. Because of this and its sturdy metal housing, the ERSA EA 55 i can be used in practically any environment: from the development and laboratory area to production.
