Item details

NH fuse load disconnectors NLS consist of two main
components, the disconnector lower part with a lower con-
tact protection with spring pressure contacts and the re-
movable swivel cover, on which a short-circuit proof and
overvoltage-proof circuit breaker for fuse monitoring is
built.

The circuit breaker has three main current paths for
the three phases and one opener and closer each which
are routed to the outside via the spring contacts 13, 14
and 21, 22 via the disconnector lower part. The tripping
in case of a defective NH fuse is done via a bimetal trip-
ping device, whose own resistance has no influence on
the characteristic curve of the NH fuse.

After tripping due to a defective NH fuse, the circuit
breaker must be manually switched on again.
The circuit breaker is touch-proof encapsulated under a
plastic cover.

The voltage range of the circuit breaker goes up to AC 690V
or up to DC 150V, maximum current of the auxiliary contacts:
10A A fuse monitoring is not permitted in branches with power
controllers, where in the event of a fault a DC feedback with
a voltage DC > 300V can occur.
