Item details
DIGISTART STV 1312
The DIGISTART is a fully digitized soft starter with an 8-bit microprocessor, which can be used with all three-phase asynchronous squirrel-cage motors.
It ensures a gradual start-up of the motor with:
- reduced current consumption during start-up,
- shock-free acceleration by controlling the current drawn by the motor.
After start-up, the DIGISTART performs the additional functions described below.
Functional description
The DIGISTART STV 1312 consists of:
- a power module,
- a power board,
- a control board.
The power module consists of the following components:
- 6 power thyristors on heat sinks, cooling is done by natural heat radiation,
- the terminal blocks.
The power board basically consists of:
- the power supply for the electronics,
- the control of the thyristors,
- the measurement of the parameters,
- the interface to the control board.
The control board basically consists of:
- the control terminal block,
- the output relays,
- the microprocessor and its peripherals,
- the electronic control circuits,
- 3 buttons for parameterization,
- 1 seven-segment display.
