Cousins Smart Engineering has developed an advanced cutting and clamping device with the A-Arm. It provides significant productivity improvements and safety benefits. This technology is only available on Cousins machines.
This unique method of applying and cutting the stretch film provides you with the following benefits:
• Selectable Top Banding Function
• Stabilizes the Load Early in the Wrapping Cycle
• Places the Film End at the Top of the Load Instead of the Bottom
• No Film Clamp on the Turntable that Can Be Damaged by Dirt or Operator Error –
• The placement of the load on the turntable is not critical
• No air connections or loud compressors
• New automatic safety function for load detection on the first revolution detects uneven
or partially stacked upper layers and automatically adjusts the A-arm height to avoid obstacles
• A-arm fall protection
