The maintenance units are used to condition the air and ensure reliable operation of all downstream pneumatic devices.
They make a significant contribution to the service life of valves and cylinders.
Therefore, a maintenance unit should generally be installed before every pneumatic control system.
These consist of a filter, pressure regulator, pressure gauge and lubricator.
The filter removes contaminants such as rust, dirt, oil and condensate carried along with the air.
The pressure regulator regulates the existing inlet pressure P1 (primary pressure) to the required operating pressure P2 (secondary pressure).
It thus ensures economical compressed air consumption and protects connected devices from overload.
The pressure gauge indicates the regulated pressure on the secondary side.
The lubricator injects a fine oil mist into the air flowing to the pneumatic devices, acting as an automatic central lubrication system.
The continuous supply of the lubricant in small quantities ensures economical oil consumption.
The filter and lubricator housings are made of transparent plastic, allowing visual inspection at all times.
The glasses can be unscrewed to the left for refilling the oil or cleaning.
The flow rate can be adjusted using the adjusting screw on top of the lubricator.
