Cole Parmer Vacuum Oven
The vacuum ovens from Cole-Parmer are designed for drying under carefully controlled conditions – normal atmosphere, vacuum up to 30" Hg or inert gas atmosphere.
The oven is suitable for drying, vacuum embedding, electroplating and processing electronic components.
Non-corrosive, non-flammable gases such as nitrogen and carbon dioxide can be used in the oven.
All controls and connections (except power) are located at the front in a vertical panel.
The illuminated power switch, vacuum gauge, temperature controller, vacuum control valve and hose connections made of nickel-plated brass are located at the front for convenient operation.
The radiant heat of the warm wall without exposed heating elements ensures uniform heat while maximizing the interior volume.
The temperature is controlled via a hydraulic thermostat.
Vacuum levels are precisely regulated between 0 and 30 inches Hg.
The silicone door seal ensures a tight closure at all vacuum levels.
A window made of high-strength tempered glass, fully protected by a safety grille, provides a full view of the oven contents.
The two aluminum shelves conduct heat well to the samples. The shelves can be easily removed.
The continuous wool insulation ensures a uniform temperature.
