Siemens PTM1.2D20S DESIGO I/O Module Pulse Signaling Module
for pulse signals, double module
Signaling module on P-bus with two separate signaling inputs for detecting
pulse signals from potential-free pulse contacts and electronic switches,
with memory function.
Detecting pulse signals from potential-free pulse contacts in the system, which can be triggered:
• by power failure monitoring
• by emergency signaling via touch buttons, e.g. in elevators
• by monitoring start-up circuits for fault analysis
Electronic switches such as transistors and optocouplers can also be connected as pulse generators.
Functions
• Separate signaling inputs for normally open and normally closed contacts, the signaling contacts
can be wired as follows:
− Normally open: individually or multiple contacts in series via terminals E12 and E22
− Normally closed: individually or multiple contacts in parallel via terminals E14 and E24
• Signaling of a normally open and a normally closed contact (OR logic), via one
I/O point:
− Normally open: terminal E12, normally closed: terminal E14 or
− Normally open: terminal E22, normally closed: terminal E24
• Indication of the signal by illumination of the lamps on the module:
− for pulse contact activation only briefly, from the arrival of the pulse until its detection
and acknowledgment by the master device
