The ACCU-SORT model 24 barcode reading system is a high-performance system for reading all standard 1D code types. In customized device variants, standard and high density codes can also be identified on fast-moving objects at a distance of 250 - 2000 mm. The readable module width ranges from 0.38 - 0.76 mm. The model 24 devices are standard equipped with DRX technology for the reliable reading of barcodes that are rotated by up to 45°, poorly printed or damaged.

The microprocessor also decodes the reading result in the scanner at a high scan rate.
