Item details

Manufacturer: BARTEC

Type: ELBA bs

To protect three-phase asynchronous motors against
• overload and
• switchgear and lines against the effects of a short circuit.

The electronic overcurrent relay ELBA bs, in conjunction with the associated transformers RZW..., is used to protect electrical consumers. Three-phase asynchronous motors are protected against overload, switchgear and lines against the effects of a short circuit. A display or a measured value transmission can be connected to the existing measuring output. The following features characterize the electronic overcurrent relay ELBA bs:
• Low self-heating
• Large adjustment ranges for the current-dependent delayed overcurrent tripping and the short-circuit tripping
• Maintenance-free
• Insensitivity to harmonics in compensated networks.

Technical data:

Connection voltage
Auxiliary voltage 42 V AC (± 20%)
Frequency 50 Hz ± 10 Hz
Power consumption < 3 VA

Tripping values
Overcurrent tripping
adjustable
30 to 100 A x W x V
corresponding to a rated current of
4 to 1000 A, depending on the transformer type and the set
scale factor V.
W = transformer constant
V = scale factor
Short-circuit tripping
adjustable 3 to 15 x IN
Tripping time short circuit
adjustable 20 ms, 40 ms, 60 ms

Measuring output
Measuring voltage 0 to 10 V corresponds to 0 to 140 % IN
Accuracy ± 2% of the measured value
Linearity over the adjustment range
± 1 % of the end value
Temperature drift < 2000 ppm / K

Relay data
Contact type 1 changeover contact each
Rated voltage 250 V AC
Rated current 4 A
